The closest international airport to Incline Village is in Reno, NV (RNO) and is serviced in decent capacity by Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest, and United Airlines. The drive from RNO to Incline Village is approximately an hour in ideal conditions.
Alternatively, the Sacramento, CA (SMF) airport is about two hours away from Incline Village. SMF is larger than RNO and may offer more direct flight options. San Francisco (SFO) is about four hours away by car, but it is possible to fly nonstop from Zurich to SFO. Please take note that summertime traffic to/from and around Lake Tahoe can be hectic, and especially if you plan to depart on Sunday, you should allow for extra travel time.
Lake Tahoe is best explored with a car.
