Ceremony & Reception
The wedding will take place Saturday, September 10, on 2:30 PM at Eschlibachweg 9, 8267 Berlingen.
For our Swiss wedding, we are lucky to have a beautiful ceremony site right on the shores of the idyllic Bodensee. The festivities will start at 2.30 PM – we don’t have an end time planned, and hope you’ll stay and party with us until the wee morning hours!
Please plan on arriving no later than 3 PM, so as to not miss our ceremony. And, unlike Tahoe, we’re not planning a kid-free wedding, so feel free to bring along your cats, dogs, and offspring.
After the ceremony, we’ll be serving an early dinner around 5.30.
Attire
Casual – suits optional for the guys (pants recommended), summer dresses for the gals.
The ceremony and dinner will both be outside, on the lawn right by the lake. Bring something that you’re comfortable wearing all day in the grass – definitely no high heels. Even on a warm day it may get cold and windy later in the day, so bring layers.
We’ll be outdoors, rain or shine. It’s September in Switzerland – it may be sunny and hot, or pouring rain and ice cold, so please come prepared for what the weather may bring. We will have tents at the site in case of rain.
And remember we’re at the shore of a lake – bring your bathing suit!
